The Megaphonic THRIFT - DECAY DECAY

There are stories that I can simply give no credence, but which are always sold as genuine. "The question in the philosophy exam was, 'What is courage' and then the friend of my friend just made the examination and, This is courage 'said really happened:" Just as there is supposedly give each city a child should which was mistakenly called by his mother Rosa panties. The Megaphonic Thrift had written to her debut album Decay Decay ready when a fire devoured much of the (vintage) equipment and the band to start recording, new pedals, guitars and amplifiers bought. And suddenly this new sound was in the room, which had nothing to do with actually creating and at a time like chalk and cheese in years. Urban Myth or true story ...

arise from the stronghold of the Norwegian music scene, the musicians play together since 2007 and released an EP which was already well on Bergens boundaries overwhelmed with joy and recognition. So it was now finally time for the album, which stands for ten diverse and exciting songs.

sounds like the whole Scandinavia but not much more after the New York Ho Wave. The songs are classic No Wave patterns and provides the drums for the necessary Variety. Slow, then impulsive, not only stagnation. Also frene and overdriven guitars seem to have a penchant of the Norwegians, because they always give the best guitar parts, which almost silenced the drums like a pouring rain down rain down on the handset. Fine, mostly melancholic melodies that round are revealed by precise guitar picking from the whole thing and give rise to something that really makes one wonder. Almost experimental than the New York stuff and certainly a successful debut.
