NORMA - THE BOOK OF NORMA
Even at its foundation in 2005 had great expectations of Norma, but were also given the doubt about the durability and always right. Contribute the eight pieces on first hearing very catchy, so is the repeated and detailed listening of real virtuosity and oddness of the band, which is skillfully hidden behind big but unobtrusive melodies. The wall of sound that seems pompous and meters high, rests basically on a minimalist frame made drum pads, synths and guitars. Norma lead behind the listener's light and, although promises are kept, are just the means but not the expected.
If you tried Norma impose a genre temple, we would not be the band and their demands. And frankly, the Swedes need any classification or de-classification. Jeodoch influences they draw from the Krautrock, Indie, electro and ambient. But in fact we must not so much to write about Norma, because this band has to listen to it!
