65DAYSOFSTATIC - HEAVY SKY
a damn lot of staying 65daysofstatic. After the band's up to the skies acclaimed album "We were exploding anyway" not so long ago have now published the following new master stroke of the band from Sheffield. To an album in the short time it has passed yet, but the EP "Heavy Sky", which is incorporated between the almost non-stop tour is breathtaking.

present the math-rock on the current publication gloomy sounds, which can indeed repeatedly by euphoric sound elements, this will make again but with the bashing of distorted guitars niece. Heavy and oppressive, the seven tracks, as the promising title of the EP suggests. Some of the tracks degenerate into an unstoppable sound storm and it falls a difficult to make out how many synths have been here now superimposed. This is all done in a seemingly inexorable pace that the British stop again skillfully. These breaks can but a little time to breathe (see "staying power" of the band), because Heavy Sky lives of its continuity. A common thread among the various tracks holds together this record and opens the listener a cinematic roller-coaster ride through bleak landscapes.

It is difficult to practice in this publication criticized because 65daysofstatic understand their business and therefore can not avoid being reticent. From NME up to the BBC there is agreement: This is breathtaking!
